Sushma Swaraj to visit Bangladesh in October
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will visit Bangladesh towards the end of this month to attend a joint consultative commission meeting in Dhaka.

Swaraj's two-day visit comes at a time when Bangladesh is receiving hundreds of thousands of Rohingya refugees in view of the Myanmar military crackdown against them in Rakhine state.
The minister would be in Dhaka for the meeting scheduled for October 23 and 24, Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Shahidul Haque on Friday confirmed during a briefing at the Bangladesh High Commission.
The joint commission would review the progress made in implementing the decisions taken when Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Dhaka in June 2015 and his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina came here in April this year.
The commission, chaired by Swaraj and Bangladesh Foreign Minister A H Mahmud Ali, would also review various other bilateral issues.
The Indian external affairs minister is also likely to meet Prime Minister Hasina.
