Sushma Swaraj to undergo medical check-up in AIIMS

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here on Tuesday for a routine medical checkup, a senior doctor said.

New Delhi, Oct 25: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here on Tuesday for a routine medical checkup, a senior doctor said.

He said Swaraj will be discharged on Wednesday after the required tests are done.

"Swaraj-ji has come to AIIMS, likely for a normal check-up. She will go back tomorrow (Wednesday)," the doctor told IANS.

Swaraj was earlier admitted to AIIMS in April following chest congestion.
