Sushma Swaraj tells Rajya Sabha, "Did not help Lalit Modi to get travel documents"
New Delhi, Aug 3: During the monsoon session of Parliament in Rajya Sabha, Minister of external affairs, Sushma Swaraj on Monday, Aug 3, made a statement and said that she has "never requested British government for procuring travel documents for the former IPL chief Lalit Modi".

She also said that the notification which she has been provided is not based on facts and on opposition remarks, Swaraj also claimed that the allegations are baseless.

"I had informed the through the leader of the house that I am ready for discussion. But they don't start the discussion, they just create ruckus", she said.
With Congress members creating a ruckus, the house was adjourned till 12 noon.
