Surendranagar Road Accident: 7 Killed, 3 Injured In Gujarat Car-SUV Crash

At least seven people were killed in a tragic road accident in Gujarat's Surendranagar district on Sunday afternoon, police officials confirmed to PTI.

The incident took place near Dedadara village around 3:30 PM when a Swift Dzire collided with a Tata Harrier, leading to a massive fire. According to Vadhvan police station inspector P. B. Jadeja, all seven occupants of the Swift Dzire were charred to death, while three passengers in the SUV managed to escape with minor injuries.

Local residents, police personnel, and a 108 emergency team rushed to the spot soon after the crash to begin rescue operations. Eyewitnesses reported that the collision caused chaos and led to a traffic jam on the highway.

The accident has shocked the local community, with visuals showing the charred remains of the vehicle involved. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
