New Delhi, Dec 17: Who do you think will be most searched person on Google in 2014? PM Narendra Modi? Wait, the Google India top searches list for 2014 is out and this is what it has revealed.

Google India has revealed that Sunny Leone topped the list for most searched personalities in India leavuing behind PM Narendra Modi, Bollywood actor Salman Khan and many more big and powerful personalities.

The term ‘Elections 2014' topped Google India's trending lists in 2014, followed by FIFA World Cup 2014, Indian Premier League 2014 and even the iPhone 6. Other topics like mystery of Malaysia Airlines 370 and death of Sunanda Pushkar were also among the top trends.

"The findings of Google's Year in Search is a clear testimony of India's growing interest in issues of national importance. The 2014 Lok Sabha elections pointed to the power of digital media and also to the unprecedented demand for information," Rajan Anandan, managing director of Google India was quoted as saying in a daily.

Modi was the second most searched personality in India in the year 2014. He was also the first politician to have gained more search popularity than entertainment personalities this year.

Railway enquiries, cricket news and online shopping were also among the top searches and weather information, games, wallpaper downloads etc also formed a large section of these searches.

Not only this, among the most popular search queries Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon also found the place in the list of top ten search queries, the SBI Online and HDFC Netbanking were also among the list of search queries.
