Sunanda murder case- Journalist Nalini Singh to be questioned today

New Delhi, Jan 23: Senior journalist Nalini Singh will be questioned by the Special Investigating Team of the Delhi police in connection with the Sunanda Pushkar murder case. The SIT says that the questioning of Nalini Singh is crucial since Sunanda was in touch with her and there were conversations that are important to the case.

The IPL link:

In a recent statement Nalini Singh had said that Sunanda Pushkar had mentioned something about IPL to her. She was, however, not able to comprehend what she was trying to say.

The issue regarding IPL came up when Nalini Singh had spoken with Sunanda on January 16 and 17. Nalini Singh had said that she could not tell what Sunanda was trying to say. All she could recollect clearly was Sunanda telling her, " look at the IPL mess.

Won't take things lying down:

Sunanda reportedly also told Nalini Singh that she would not take things lying down. Nalini Singh had also recorded her statement after Sunanda's death with the Magistrate and spoken about her conversations with Sunanda.

Nalinin Singh had told the media later about the conversations while also adding that there is a need for the police to investigate the matter further.
