Sunanda Pushkar's Death: CBI to investigate, grill Shashi Tharoor?

. Now, citing the demand, many started asking -- will CBI probe Sunanda's sudden death? Will CBI grill her husband

and his staffs.

Sunanda's cousin -- Sanjay Pandita and his wife Anu Pandita, who live in Jammu and Kashmir, overruled all reports regarding suicide. Suspecting conspiracy, Sanjay was quoted as saying, "Except migraine, she had no other major ailment. It is true that she was quite disturbed over what was happening in her life recently."

"Sunanda was my paternal aunt's daughter. She was a very brave woman. She struggled a lot to come up in the life. She was a self-made woman. Somebody like her can never commit suicide. She faced so many hardships in her life. She had seen bad days. We have seen her fight for survival. She used to say that I am not her cousin, I am her son. We demand that a CBI inquiry should be ordered into her death. She wanted to help her relatives. We are all shocked," he added while speaking to a news TV channel.

Sunanda was found dead in Leela Palace Hotel in Delhi. She was engaged in a spat with Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar as she accused the latter of stalking her husband.

After her postmortem at All India Institute of Medical Institute (AIIMS) in Delhi, Sunanda has been cremated on Saturday, Jan 18. Sunanda's 21-year-old son Shiv Menon performed the last rites for his mother.

One doctor, after Sunanda's autopsy, said, "On postmortem examination we can say that it is a case of unnatural sudden death. There were certain injury marks on the body but we can't divulge details at this point."

According to sources, Mr Tharoor, Union Minister, who has already been quizzed by the current investigating officials, will once again be grilled by the officials. Mr Tharoor on Saturday was admitted to AIIMS and later he was released.
