Sunanda: Movement of the accused holds the key

New Delhi, Feb 11: The Special Investigating Team of the Delhi police say that they have ample information about the movement of the accused prior to the murder of Sunanda Pushkar.

The Special Investigating Team probing the Sunanda murder case say that based on footage, call records and also questioning of the several persons they have managed to piece together details about the movement of several persons prior to the incident.

Was Tharoor tracked:

An officer associated with the probe said that every person associated with Sunanda has been tracked. We found about the movements of Shashi Tharoor too prior and also after the incident.

We have called him in for questioning tomorrow and will seek details about a lot of aspects pertaining to the case. Moreover there are also some questions that will be posed to him in relation to the IPL angle.

More details have emerged after the questioning of the journalists and also Sunanda's son Shiv. In fact Shiv had detailed the relationship between his mother and Shashi Tharoor to the investigating team.

Forensics will be crucial:

The police say that the forensic evidence in the case will be crucial. The footage on the cameras and also the samples sent for testing are all awaited. Once that comes in we will be able to go further in the case.

The police also pointed out that they have not yet zeroed in on any accused person as yet. At least three to four persons are being viewed as suspects and it is just a matter of time before the real culprit is found, the officer further pointed out.
