Sultry weather persists in Delhi

According to the MeT department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, which was two notches above normal. Humidity level was recorded 69 per cent till 8.30 AM and is expected to rise during the day.
"There will be partly cloudy sky in the later part of the day, but no rain is expected to take place. Today, the maximum temperature may settle around 37 degrees Celsius," said an official of MeT department.
He also said that no rain has been reported from any parts of the national capital in the last 24 hours. Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 38.4 degrees Celsius, two points above normal while the minimum was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal.
