Sulkhan Singh replaces Javeed Ahmed as UP DGP
UP government on Friday transferred 12 IPS officers.
Sulkhan Singh has replaced Javeed Ahmed as the Director General of Police of Uttar Pradesh.

Yogi Adityanath-led government on Friday transferred 12 IPS officers and seven IAS officers in the state.
Singh, a 1980 batch IPS officer, was the chief of police's training department before this.
Other police officers who have been transferred include Surya Kumar, Jawahar Lal Tripathi, Alok Prasad, Aditya Mishra, Bhavesh Kumar Singh and Vijay Kumar.
Aditya Mishra has been made ADG, Law and Order, while Alok Prasad has been appointed as DGP, Homeguards.
Bhavesh Singh has been appointed as ADG, Intelligence.
