Sukhoi-30MKI crashes near Barmer, pilots safe

A Sukhoi-30MKI crashed at a village near Barmer, Rajasthan while on a routine sortie on Wednesday. Reports suggested that two pilots ejected to safety when the fighter jet crashed in Shivkar Kurla area of Barmer. Eyewitnesses suggested that three locals of the village were injured but no casualties were reported.

Earlier in the day, Air Force's Chetak Helicopter toppled during a training sortie.The where the jet crashed has been cordoned off and the local police at present at the spot. Injured are being attended to.
