Sudhakaran throws tantrums in jail; doesn't want jail food

Jayalalithaa’s former foster son has alleged that the jail food is not ‘acceptable’

Convicted in a disproportionate assets case, along with his wife, Ilavarasi and aunt Sasikala Natarajan, Sudhakaran is currently lodged in the Bengaluru central prison Parappana Agrahara. On Wednesday, jail authorities said that Sudhakaran was throwing tantrums demanding food from outside. Sudhakaran has appealed to the jail authorities to allow outside food for his consumption since jail food was not 'acceptable'.

Sudhakaran is also said to have shouted at jail authorities for refusing to allow his 'supporters and fans' to meet him. For two days in a row, people from the AIADMK including TTV Dinakaran and Tamil Nadu cabinet ministers had arrived in Bengaluru to meet Sasikala Natarajan. No visitors were allowed to meet Sudhakaran who is lodged in the men's wing of the same prison.

Cyanide Mallika shifted

Meanwhile, 'Cyanide Mallika', a convicted serial killer who was lodged in a cell next to Sasikala Natarajan's has been shifted to Hindalga jail. While the hush-hush shifting was speculated to be a security move, sources suggested that she was transferred to Bengaluru central jail for medical help and has been shifted out after she recuperated. Mallika was reported to have been cordial with Sasikala.
