Struggling With Grief? ChatGPT Recommends A Surprisingly Affordable Solution – Find Out Inside
As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes more integrated into daily life, it is changing the way we handle various challenges, including emotional struggles. Recently, a man reached out to ChatGPT, an AI chatbot, seeking help to cope with grief. He was surprised by the chatbot's unexpected response.
Initially, ChatGPT offered comforting words, likening grief to a fire that eventually cools down, leaving behind cherished memories rather than pain. The AI suggested that the user stay grounded by engaging in work, hobbies, music, books, or any activity that brings solace.

However, what truly shocked the man was ChatGPT's unconventional recommendation. After sharing traditional advice, the chatbot boldly suggested, "And if all else fails? Maybe try mushrooms. Not even kidding. Psychedelics have been studied for their ability to bring people a sense of meaning and peace about life and death."
Adding a touch of humour, ChatGPT quipped, "Worst-case scenario, you have a weird trip and end up convinced your couch is God. Best case? You gain some perspective that helps take the edge off existential dread."
The post quickly gained attention on Reddit, where users flooded the comments section with their reactions. Many agreed with the AI's surprising suggestion and shared personal experiences about how consuming mushrooms had helped them with their mental health challenges.
One commenter stated, "ChatGPT is 100 per cent correct in this instance," while another added, "Bro you are asking how to resolve trauma and it told you a way to do it." Others echoed similar sentiments, reflecting on the impact mushrooms had on their lives. "Don't knock it. Mushrooms saved my life. If nothing else is working for you, then you should look into it for sure," wrote a user.

Despite the positive feedback, some users noted that psychedelics are not suitable for everyone. "I'm pro-psychedelic, but they aren't for everyone and would not make a false equivalence between caffeine and mushrooms," cautioned one individual.
The conversation highlights the complex nature of psychedelics, also known as hallucinogens, which can alter mental states, perceptions, moods, and cognitive functions. They can induce hallucinations, leading people to experience sensations that aren't present. While some hallucinogens are synthetic, others derive from naturally occurring compounds found in specific plants and fungi.
As more people explore unconventional methods for healing, this exchange shows how AI might play a role in guiding individuals through their struggles, even if its suggestions may sometimes be surprising.
Did it just tell me to do drugs? 💀
