Stretcher denied in Hyd hospital, baby carried around with oxygen support
A baby was carried around with an oxygen support in Hyderabad hospital after the management denied to provide stretcher.
Hyderabad: Just a day after a mentally challenged woman was dragged around in Arrah hospital of Bihar as the management denied stretcher,this time a child was carried around with the oxygen support in the state-run Niloufer hospital in Hyderabad after the management allegedly denied a stretcher for a baby. The incident took place on Wednesday night.
In a video, two men seen carrying a baby and the oxygen support tank to ESROP room. The baby is seen in sub-conscious state in her father's hand with oxygen support and one relative dragging the oxygen tank. The video has gone viral on social media.
Earlier this year, five women died while undergoing C-section surgeries.the deaths occurred in a single week from January 28 to February 4. The hospital authorities stayed all C-section surgeries and formed a committee to probe in the deaths of women.
Earlier this month, unable to pay the bribe for stretcher, a sick man used his son's toy tricycle to go around in the hospital. This incident took place in government-run Gandhi hospital.
The victim identified as S Raju from Begumpet suffered burn injuries after an electric shock in August, 2016. He was visiting the hospital for check-ups. His Wife Santhoshi, alleged that the attender demanded Rs 100 bribe to provide a wheel chair.
