Straws Of Broom Are Scattering: PM Modi Slams Arvind Kejriwal's AAP
Delhi Elections 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed a rally in Delhi's RK Puram and urged people to elect BJP candidate. From the stage, PM Modi reiterated promises made by BJP in their election manifesto.
He also criticised Delhi-ruling Aam Aadmi Party, claiming AAP leaders have mismanaged the city over the past eleven years. He accused AAP of corruption in various sectors like health, highlighting mohalla clinics, and low-quality medicines.

"'Hum dekh rahe hain ki voting se pehale hi, jhaadu ke tinke bikhar rahe hain' (the straws of the broom are scattering'). Leaders of 'AAP-da' are leaving it, they know that people are angry with 'AAP-da', they (people) hate this party," he added.
PM Modi further called RK Puram as a symbol of unity, where people from various states live together peacefully and contribute to government services.
PM said the onset of auspicious Basant Panchami, a new era of development led by BJP would begin in Delhi on February 5. Saffron party is going to secure a majority in the upcoming polls, PM Modi expressed confidence.
Promises and Guarantees
PM Modi termed Delhi Assembly Election 2025 as a test of his guarantees and AAP's false promises. PM assured strengthening 4 pillars of society: farmers, women, youth, and the poor.
PM Modi also praised Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in his speech, stating his government is committed to strengthen and work for every section of the society and the recent budget is a testament to fulfilling these commitments.
PM further said that people who plundered Delhi would be held accountable.
Polling for Delhi's 70 assembly seats will be held on February 5 and counting of votes will take place on February 8, 2025.
