Stop Kashmir talk in your parliament, India tells UK

Kashmir is an integral and inalienable part of India and the UK should not allow an anti-India propaganda on its soil, the junior home minister also said.

    India has raised strong concerns with the United Kingdom about the frequency with which the Kashmir issue is being raised in its parliament. The minister of state for home, Kiren Rijiju raised this issue during his delegation level meeting with visiting British minister of state for immigration, Brandon Lewis.

    Rijiju said that the Kashmir issue was being raised in the British parliament at the behest of some MPs of Pakistan origin. He said that this was against the stated policy of non-interference in such matters.

    Rijiju also raised issues regarding the pro-Khalistani and Kashmir separatist activists who are operating in UK. There are many in the UK who are indulging in anti-India activity. They are raising an anti-India propaganda and it must stop, Rijiju also told Lewis.
