Stop Dreaming Of Becoming PM, BJP Tells Nitish Kumar

The BJP has taken a swipe at Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar and said that he should get out of his dream of becoming prime minister.

The comments come after Nitish Kumar met with his Delhi counterpart, Arvind Kejriwal amidst the ongoing face-off with the Centre over the control of administrative services.

BJP's national spokesperson, Prem Shukla said that Nitish is dreaming about becoming prime minister. Instead, he needs to focus on Bihar, Shukla also said.

Shukla also said that meeting with other leaders is Kumar's right, but he should focus on Bihar.

He is daydreaming about becoming prime minister. Instead, he should discharge his duties as chief minister of Bihar. That is his constitutional responsibility, the BJP spokesperson also said.

On the other and, Sanjay Mayukh, an MLC from Bihar said that Kumar should come out of his dream world. There is no vacancy for the post of prime minister, he also said.

The people of the state will never forgive him for pushing it deeper into crime and corruption, Mayukh also said.

The BJP also said that the state is being pushed into anarchy. He should pay attention to this instead of dreaming of becoming prime minister, the BJP also said.

Kumar in recent days has been meeting with several leaders in a bid to forge an alliance against the BJP. He had also thrown his weight behind Kejriwal following the protest by the Aam Aadmi Party over the ordinance.

On Friday, the Centre promulgated an ordinance to create a National Capital Civil Service Authority for the transfer of IAS and DANICS cadre officers and disciplinary proceedings against them.
