Stamp paper racket kingpin Telgi admitted to hospital in ‘very’ critical condition
The kingpin of the fake stamp paper racket, Abdul Karim Telgi is in a critical condition. He has been admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru and is currently on life support.

M T Nanaiah, the advocate who has represented Telgi in the case informed OneIndia that he remains in a very critical condition. He also informed that Telgi is suffering from brain fever. Nanaiah also said that there was some amount of delay on part of the jail authorities in admitting him to hospital.
Nanaiaha however denied reports that Telgi had died. He has been admitted to the Victoria hospital in Bengaluru and is currently on a ventilator, Nanaiah further informed.
Telgi was arrested several years back in connection with the multi crore fake stamp paper racket. The cases against him are in the trial stage. He was lodged in the Central Jail at Parapanaagarahara in Bengaluru.
