Stalin's Namakku Naame is a comedy programme, says Alagiri
Chennai, Oct 4: Former Union minister M K Alagiri on Monday described as a "comedy programme" the state-wide campaign of his brother and DMK leader M K Stalin.
Alagiri, who was expelled from DMK on March 25 last year for his bitter criticism of the party and its leadership, said that "it (the journey) is a comedy programme".

'Namakku Naame Vidiyal Meetpu Payanam' (we for ourselves, journey to retrieve dawn) was a campaign to reach out to the people, especially youth, ahead of the Assembly polls in Tamil Nadu next year.
It started on September 20 in Kanyakumari district and is aimed at covering all the 234 assembly constituencies in the state.
