SSC Stenographer Grade C & D: Skill Test Dates, City Slips Released – Check Details
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam city information slips for the Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' skill test, as per a Hindustan Times report. Candidates who are appearing for the exam can now download these slips from the official website - ssc.gov.in.
In a notification, SSC said that the admit cards, also known as Admission Certificates, will be made available for download two days before the exam. These can be accessed through the login section on the SSC website.

SSC has also informed that candidates who have chosen to bring their own scribe must register and submit the scribe's details on the website by 11:59 PM on April 1.
During the exam, the Commission will keep a copy of each candidate's Admission Certificate. Therefore, candidates are advised to download and keep an extra copy for future reference.
For any doubts regarding the Admission Certificate, SSC has asked candidates to refer to the official exam notice dated 24 June 2024.
The skill test for the Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination, 2024, is scheduled for April 16 and 17.
Only those who qualified in the Computer-Based Examination are eligible to appear for this skill test. During the test, they will be given one dictation for ten minutes in either English or Hindi, depending on their chosen language in the application form. The dictation speed will be:
- 100 words per minute for Stenographer Grade 'C'
- 80 words per minute for Stenographer Grade 'D'
Candidates who choose to take the test in Hindi will need to learn English stenography after being appointed, and those who choose English will have to learn Hindi stenography. If they fail to do so, their probation period may not be cleared by the department or organisation that appoints them.
