SSC JE Paper 2 Answer Key 2024 Released! Download Now at ssc.gov.in

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published the provisional answer keys for the Junior Engineer (JE) Paper 2 exam on its website, ssc.gov.in. Candidates can view these by logging in with their registration number and password. The computer-based test took place on November 6. Objections to the answer key can be submitted online until 8 p.m. on November 14, with a fee of ₹100 per question.

In October, SSC shared details about exam cities and admit cards for the JE Paper 2 exam. The Paper 1 exam was held from June 5 to 7 across various centres nationwide, with results announced in September. From this, 11,765 Civil Engineering candidates and 4,458 Electrical and Mechanical Engineering candidates qualified for Paper 2.

• To download the answer key, visit ssc.gov.in
• Go to the candidate login section.
• Enter your login details to access the provisional answer key and response sheet.
• Download your response sheet and follow instructions if you wish to raise objections.

The JE Paper 2 is designed for those who passed Paper 1. It includes three sections: Part A covers Civil and Structural Engineering, while Parts B and C are for Electrical and Mechanical Engineering candidates respectively. Successful candidates will earn a salary between ₹35,400 and ₹1,12,400.

Marking Scheme Details

Candidates can estimate their scores using the answer key along with the marking scheme. Each correct response earns one mark, while each incorrect one results in a deduction of 0.25 marks. Unanswered questions do not affect the score.

The SSC emphasises that any representations made after November 14 will not be entertained. Candidates should ensure they print their response sheets within the specified period.
