The SSC GD written test took place from February 20 to March 7, and again on March 30, 2024. The initial result was declared on July 11. This year, the commission has announced a total of 46,617 vacancies for the constable position across various forces. These include 12,076 vacancies for the Border Security Force (BSF), 13,632 for the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), 9,410 for the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), 1,926 for the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), 6,287 for the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), 2,990 for Assam Rifles (AR), and 296 for the Special Security Force (SSF).
