SSC CPO 2025: Paper 2 Exam Date Announced For Delhi Police, CAPF SI; Check Selection Process And, More Inside

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the date for Paper 2 of the Central Police Organisation (CPO) 2024 recruitment exam, according to a Jagran report. The SSC Sub-Inspector (SI) Paper 2 exam for Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) will be held on March 8.

The application status for all regions will be made available a week before the exam date, while the admit cards will be issued four days prior.

Candidates who successfully cleared the Physical exam, held from 14th to 15th October 2024, are eligible to appear for SSC CPO Paper 2. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in to stay updated with the latest information about the exam schedule and admit card release.

SSC CPO: Vacancies And Exam Date

The SSC CPO Paper 2 exam is part of the recruitment process to fill 4187 vacancies. This includes 125 positions for Delhi Police SI Male, 61 for Delhi Police SI Female, and 4001 for CAPF SI.

The SSC CPO Paper 1 exam took place from June 27 to 29, with results announced on September 2. Candidates who met the cut-off marks in Paper 1 are eligible for the Tier 2 exam.

SSC CPO: Selection Process

The selection process for the SSC CPO SI positions includes four stages. Candidates must clear each stage to proceed to the next one:

Paper 1: A computer-based test covering General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.
Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Assess candidates' physical fitness and endurance.
Paper 2: Focuses on English language skills and comprehension.
Detailed Medical Examination (DME): Ensures candidates meet the medical standards required for the role.

SSC CPO: Paper 2 Exam Pattern

The SSC CPO Paper 2 exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on English Language and Comprehension. The exam carries a total of 200 marks, with a duration of two hours. Candidates should be aware that there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer, so they should answer carefully.
