Sreesanth declares Rs 7.37 cr worth assets
Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 29: Former cricketer and BJP candidate from Thiruvananthapuram S Sreesanth has declared assets worth Rs 7.37 crore.
The 33-year-old former pace bowler, seeking his maiden electoral luck in the May 16 Assembly polls, has Rs 42,500 cash in hand while Rs 35,000 with his spouse, according to the affidavit filed by him along with his nomination papers.

Besides, as many as 55 sovereigns of gold and cricket World Cup medals (diamond-studded), worth Rs 3,00,000 and Rs 5,00,000 respectively, are the other movable assets, it said.
His spouse has 375 sovereigns of gold worth over Rs 82 lakh, the affidavit said. Sreesanth's immovable properties include a residential property worth over Rs 5.5 crore in Edapally in Kochi in a 5.26 acres of land with a built up area of over 9,000 square feet.
