SpiceJet to launch daily flights between Chennai-Rajahmundry

Budget air-carrier SpiceJet as part of expanding its operations would launch daily direct flights in Chennai-Rajahmundry route with effect from December 15.

Chennai, Dec 8: Budget air-carrier SpiceJet as part of expanding its operations would launch daily direct flights in Chennai-Rajahmundry route with effect from December 15.

Chennai would be the second metro after Hyderabad that SpiceJet will be serving a daily direct flight connecting Rajahmundry, SpiceJet said in a statement.

A one way fare on the route (Chennai-Rajahmundry, Rajahmundry-Chennai) will start from Rs 2,499 all inclusive. As per the schedule, the flight would take off from Chennai at 1.10pm and arrive at Rajahmundry at 2.30pm.

On the return direction, the air craft would leave Rajahmundry at 3pm and arrive at 4.15pm, it said. SpiceJet operates 340 average daily flights to 45 destinations including 39 domestic and six international covering 119 routes, it added.
