SpiceJet flight suffers tyre burst, Chennai airport closed till 6pm
Ethiopian Airlines cargo aircraft declared emergency landing at Chennai International Airport at 2:44 PM due to low fuel.
A Chennai to Delhi SpiceJet flight has suffered a tyre burst at Chennai International Airport on Thursday. All the passengers are safe. Owing to the tyre burst runway at Chennai Airport has been closed till 6 pm.

After the tyre burst, the crew decided to turn back and landed safety at Chennai. Passengers were deplaned safely in a normal manner and taken to the terminal building, stated SpiceJet.

Meanwhile, Ethiopian Airlines cargo aircraft declared emergency landing at Chennai International Airport at 2:44 PM due to low fuel.
