Speeding truck claims three lives on Pilibhit-Basti state highway

The police said that the victims were returning home after attending a marriage ceremony in Sarsawan in Dhaurahra area.

Uttar Pradesh April 23: Three men lost their lives on Sunday when a speeding truck hit their bike near Rajaganj on the Pilibhit-Basti state highway in UP.

The incident took place in the early hours killing Pramod 45 and Vijay Pal 40 on the spot while another person Vimal 28 was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to injuries.

The incident took place when a speeding truck hit the bike which the three were riding.

The Police said that an FIR has been registered and they were probing the matter. No arrest has been made so far.
