SP puts up a united front at Lucknow

Shivpal Yadav spoke about how the party together must defeat its rivals in the UP elections. He gave his best wishes to Akhilesh at the rally.

Lucknow, Nov 3: It appears as though the ice has been broken. The Samajwadi Party (SP) put up a united front at the Vikas Yathra in Lucknow. Akhilesh Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav and Shivpal Yadav were seated together thus displaying a united front.

Shivpal Yadav spoke about how the party together must defeat its rivals in the UP elections. He gave his best wishes to Akhilesh at the rally. I congratulate Akhilesh the uncle said to the nephew. We want an SP government in UP and I back Akhilesh Shivpal also said.

The yatra was much spoken about and there was a question mark on whether Shivpal Yadav would attend it. There were even doubts if the rally would be attended by Mulayam Singh. Now Singh will flag off the yatra. The yatra is aimed at highlighting the achievements of the SP.

Prior to the start of the rally there were clashes between SP workers. The clashes which threatened to turn ugly was however brought under control.
