SP feud continues? Shivpal downplays Akhilesh's attack
This bitterness between the two SP factions may confuse the voters.
Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Yadav on Friday refused to comment on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's blistering attack on him and merely said he has party patriach Mulayam Singh Yadav's blessings.

Without naming Shivpal, Akhilesh had on Friday urged the people of Etawah, UP, to teach a lesson to those responsible for rift between him and his father.
Shivpal is contesting assembly election on an SP ticket from Jaswantnagar in Etawah.
"Jin pe humne bharosa kiya, unhone mujhe aur Netaji ko lada diya. (Those whom I trusted, made me and Netaji fight)," Akhilesh said at an election rally in Etawah.
"Jinhone Netaji aur mere beech khaayi paida ki hai, Etawah ke log usay sabak sikhaane ka kaam karna (Those who have created a rift between me and Netaji, people of Etawah should teach them a lesson)," he added.
Akhilesh's reamarks suggest that the SP internal feud is far from over as the UP CM, in a way, asked Etawah electorate to against Shivpal, an SP candidate.
This bitterness between the two SP factions may confuse the voters.
The third of the seven phase UP assembly elections is set to be held on Sunday.
