Sonam Was Happy With Raja Raghuvanshi: His Brother Vipul Defends Accused, Demands CBI Probe
As the authorities arrest Sonam Raghuvanshi in connection with the murder of her husband Raja Raghuvanshi, the brother of the deceased, has refused to agree with the police's claims saying that he will not believe until she confesses to her crime and demanded a CBI probe to the incident.
She was taken into custody in the wee hours of Monday in Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh. The cops have arrested four people in connection with the murder.

On Sonam Raghuvanshi being arrested near Ghazipur, Vipul Raghuvanshi, brother of Raja Raghuvanshi, said, "I spoke to Govind around 2 AM. He informed me that Sonam was found in Uttar Pradesh. After we contacted UP Police, Sonam was taken by the police. She did not surrender. We will not agree that Sonam is the accused until and unless she confesses to this."
He then claimed that they were happy in their marriage and he never saw them fightinng. He further stated, "Police have not even handed over the post-mortem report of my brother. Meghalaya CM keeps saying that the police are working 24/7 in this case, but we kept calling the SP, and he never picked up our phone. We have no idea how Sonam reached Ghazipur. We want the Madhya Pradesh Police and the CBI to investigate this case. Shillong Police did not share details with us. I just want to say that if Sonam is involved in this case, she should be punished..."
On the rumours of Raj Kushwaha's affair with Sonam, Vipin Raghuvanshi claims, "It's a 1,500 km distance from Shillong to Ghaziabad... I have a doubt about Raj Kushwaha, whose name is coming into light. It's important to know whether it's the same Raj Kushwaha who works at her office as employer. Only when Sonam speaks will we get to know the truth and lie... If Sonam is involved in this crime, then we accept whatever punishment the Madhya Pradesh government decides."
Raj Kushwaha is said to be the mastermind who orchestrated the murder of three contract killers - Vicky Thakur, Akash, and Anand.
On May 23, Raja Raghuvanshi and his wife Sonam went missing during their honeymoon in the northeastern state. They had arrived in Nongriat a day ago and had checked out of Balaji Homestay before going missing. On June 2, the Indore-based businessman's body was discovered in a gorge at Sohrarim near Cherrapunji, while Sonam remained missing.
