Somnath Bharti refused bail as wife rules out 'amicable' mediation
New Delhi, Oct 5: There is no relief for ex-law minister of New Delhi and AAP leader Somnath Bharti even after his surrender. As wife rules out any form of mediation, the Supreme Court directed Bharti to move the bail petition at a lower trial court.
In fact, the apex xourt also directed the trial court to dispose off Somnath Bharti's bail petition.

The MLA was sent to a day's judicial custody by the Saket district court on Sunday. Somnath Bharti, however, denies all allegations saying that,"All allegations against me are false. Truth will come out soon."
Section 212 of the Indian Penal Code in the FIR report has also been mentioned. So far, five people have been arrested for allegedly sheltering Bharti when he was on the run.
Meanwhile, in a letter to his ex-wife which was sent through his lawyer, Bharti said: "I want to bring back peace and harmony. I am extremely keen to resolve this matter by way of a mutually acceptable and amicable solution which brings peace and harmony and also greater understanding and to ensure that our children have a bright future." The letter was sent to the Supreme Court through his lawyer Gopal Subramaniam.
