    Two Lunar eclipses and three solar eclipses will occur this year. On January 31 there would be a total Lunar eclipse in which a rare blue moon would be seen.

    The next total lunar eclipse would take place next on July 27, 2018. The eclipse would take place in Asia, Africa, Australia, South America and Europe.

    The last eclipse of the year would take place on August 11, 2018. The partial solar eclipse occurs in Leo at the Moon's ascending node. This time the event is visible from the Northern Hemisphere and includes northeastern Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Northern Europe, north and eastern Asia.
