Snapchat Outage Grips India: Users Struggle With Messaging And Uploads
Snapchat users in India are currently facing disruptions on the app. They are facing difficulties sending messages or Snaps to their contacts and are unable to upload pictures on their Stories. According to Downdetector India, Snapchat began experiencing issues in the country around 11:00 AM.

User complaints reached a peak around 1:30 PM, with fewer complaints registered from 2:00 PM onwards. The outage map for Snapchat covers almost the entire country, from Chandigarh to Madurai and Ahmedabad to Kolkata. As of now, 72 per cent of the complaints are directed towards the app, with 24 per cent reporting uploading errors and 4 per cent experiencing difficulties on the web interface.

Snapchat reports collected by Downdetector show users expressing frustration over Snapchat "not working properly," "not displaying chats," "being unable to send messages," "being unable to receive messages," and more.
Snapchat has yet to acknowledge the outage or provide a fix. Meanwhile, users are turning to social media to voice their complaints about the issues.
Many of these complaints mention concerns about losing streaks if the service does not come back online soon. Since the outage only affects India, there is a possibility that the issue is related to Snapchat's servers in India.
