Smriti Irani to kickstart her campaign in Amethi

, April 7: BJP's candidate from Amethi,

, though may have very less time to campaign for her party in Amethi, will be seen on Monday campaigning in her constituency. Meanwhile before reaching Amethi, she hit out at the AAP and Rahul Gandhi.

Irani will be in Amethi for one day and will hold various programmes throughout the day where she will be interacting with the people. She said that Rahul Gandhi was no competition to her.

Addressing reporters here she said: "I am going to contest againt Congress here and not against Congress' B-team led by the AAP." She then hit out at Rahul Gandhi saying that 'those who can't develop their constituencies must not speak anout the development of the country.'

Irani will be contesting against Congress' Rahul Gandhi and AAP's Kumar Vishwas from Amethi, where elections will be held on May 7.

Irani had earlier contested the elections from Chandni Chowk in 2004 against Congress' Kapil Sibal but lost to him.
