Smriti Irani in another twitter war, this time with Rahul Gandhi
Textile Minister Smriti Irani and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi were embroiled in a spat on Twitter on Saturday. The spat began over India's rank in Global Hunger Index 2017 report.

In reply to a tweet by Rahul after the latter took on BJP over India's rank in Global Hunger Index, Irani accused the Gandhi scion of "maligning" the nation.
The jibe came after the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) ranked India below countries like North Korea, Bangladesh and Iraq in its annual report on global hunger.
The Congress Vice President had on Friday tweeted: "If you are hungry, be patient! So what if you have no bread? Hunger is a hot topic, these days Of debate in the Delhi Durbar!"
Replying to Rahul's tweet, Smriti Irani tweeted
Not surprising that in his keenness to run down Hon PM, Rahul Gandhi maligns the Nation," Smriti Irani said in a tweet.
Smriti Irani slammed Rahul quoting a tweet by Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare JP Nadda on Global Hunger Index.
"Facts vs Fiction on Global Hunger Index to enlighten people who are keen to run down our country by twisting facts, " JP Nadda tweeted.
India is ranked 100th out of 119 countries, and has the third highest score in all of Asia only Afghanistan and Pakistan are ranked worse," IFPRI said in a statement.
