Slum demolition row: Arvind Kejriwal says 'Rahul Gandhi is still a kid'
New Delhi, Dec 14: Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal on Monday, Dec 14 said that Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi is a 'kid', on being questioned over AAP government's protest in Parliament against the slum demolition drive in the capital, on Sunday, Dec 13.
Earlier in the day, Rahul Gandhi told a news agency "why is AAP government doing dharna? They are in power in Delhi."

In a quick response, Kejriwal hit back and tweeted and said "I think his party has not told Rahul Gandhi that railway comes under the central government not under Delhi government."
Meanwhile, AAP and TMC staged protest against the demolition drive by the central government, which uprooted around 500 Jhuggies (slums) in Shakur Basti in north-west Delhi.
On Monday, Dec 14, Rahul even visited the razed slums where Indian Railways had conducted a demolition drive. While speaking to slum dwellers, Rahul promised to give all kind of assistance to the homeless people.
While talking to a news agency, he also said, "we will help you in every possible way and I won't let this happen again, call me if they (AAP and BJP govt) do demolition drive again."
"Your fight is our fight, as we (Congress) are not in power. Modi ji and Kejriwal ji are in power."
Rahul also tweeted, " Modi sarkar & Kejriwal sarkar are responsible for what has happened. But now they are busy blaming each other. Instead they should provide help to the people who have been displaced & rehabilitate them."
The war of words strengthened when the Congress spokesperson Sanjay Jha took a dig at Kejriwal and tweeted, " Kejriwal Ji, some standards in political discourse should be maintained. AAP abhi kachche hain ! "
In an explanation to 6-year-old infant death, railways said that the infant died before the demolition drive at around 10 am on Saturday, Dec 12, while police informed that baby died because of heap of clothes fell on her."
In a sharp reaction, Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP and other party members like TMC and JD(U) raised their voices in both the houses of Parliament, and moved an adjournment motion in Lok Sabha.
