Yakub hanging: Singer Abhijeet stokes controversy, posts derogatory tweet against Prashant Bhushan

New Delhi, July 31: Bollywood singer Abhijeet is once again in the news for the wrong reason. Stocking fresh controversy, singer has tweeted an abusive post against lawyer Prashant Bhushan.

Lashing out at Bhushan for defending the capital punishment of Yakub Memon, singer on micro-blogging website wrote, "@AnuragWROXTAR yaar iss prashant bhushan ko jute marne ke liye bhi appointment lena padega . Pura Desh katar me hai."

In another vitriolic tweet mentioning the name of a television journalist he wrote, ""@gauravcsawant yaar mai @pbhushan1 Prashant bhushan ko fata hua sasta joota marunga (mine is costly) uski dead body par, Camera ready rakhna".

Earlier, while defending Salman Khan, the singer had written on Twitter that those who were sleeping on the footpath were actually to be blamed for the tragedy.

On social media, Abhijeet is being slammed by some section of people for abusive language he used against lawyer Prashant Bhushan while others are supporting him for strong word he used. Here are some tweets.
