New Delhi, Aug 13: Punjab Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu is waiting for government permission to allow him to go to Pakistan to attend the oath taking ceremony of PM-elect Imran Khan on August 18.

Earlier, while talking to media, Sidhu said that Imran Khan called him personally to invite him for his oath-taking ceremony in Pakistan on August 18. The call was later followed by a formal email from PTI leaders.

Sidhu was among the first cricketers from India to congratulate Imran Khan after his party emerged as the single-largest party following the July 25 elections in the neighbouring country.
