Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Committee Requests Devotees To Delay Visit By 15 Days, Know Why
The Ram Janmabhoomi Temple management committee in Ayodhya has advised local devotees to postpone their visits. This request comes in light of an "unprecedented surge" in visitors. The committee suggests delaying visits by 15-20 days to manage the crowd effectively.
Ayodhya witnessed a massive influx of devotees on Republic Day, with over 25 lakh people visiting the Ram temple. Most visitors were seen at the Ram Lalla and Hanumangarhi temples, highlighting the spiritual significance of these sites.

Record Crowds Expected at Maha Kumbh
The Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj is set to host a staggering number of devotees. On January 29, 2025, during the 'Mukhya Snan' for Mauni Amavasya, around 10 crore people are expected to take a holy dip. Many devotees are also traveling from Prayagraj to Ayodhya by train and road.
Since January 13, more than 147.6 million people have bathed at Triveni Sangam, where the Ganga and Yamuna rivers meet. This data was provided by the Uttar Pradesh Information Department, reflecting the event's immense popularity.
Efforts to Manage Unprecedented Crowds
The administration is working hard to accommodate an anticipated crowd of 40 crore over a month-long period at this religious gathering. Telecom providers and the Maha Kumbh Mela administration are ensuring uninterrupted connectivity with seamless internet streaming and no call drops amid record-breaking teledensity.
The trust has urged local devotees to defer their visit by 10-15 days. "We humbly request devotees from nearby areas to plan their visit to Ayodhya 15-20 days later, allowing those coming from distant places to have an easier darshan experience at present. This will ensure convenience for everyone," it said.
