'Should I fall on your feet?' Big B demands his blue tick from Twitter

Amitabh Bachchan is one of the actors whose blue tick or verified badge has lost after the social media platform made the feature a paid service.

Should I fall on your feet? Big B demands his blue tick from Twitter

Responding to the development, the Big B said that he has paid the money and questioned whether he should "fall at its feet" to get back the verified badge.

He wrote, "T 4623 - Hey Twitter! Are you listening? I have paid for the subscription service... so please put back the blue lotus in front of my name, so that people know that I am Amitabh Bachchan. I am making the request with folded hands... now should I fall on your feet?"

His post met with a lot of funny reactions from his followers. "Mr Bachchan, he (Elon Musk) is a foreigner, never listens to anyone. You will have to wait for a few days," a user said. "Yes, brother. Now you have to add the mask's legs 👣. Then you will get the blue vaccine 😂," another one responded.

The third user used the actor's iconic dialogue from 'Deewar' ("Aaj mere paas building hai, property hai, bank balance hai, bangla hai, gaadi hai..kya hai kya hai tumhare pass?") to respond to his Tweet.

"Respected Sir, Today you have wealth, fame, bungalow, car..! But I have blue tick!" the user said. One user commented, "chill after verification you will get it."

However, a fan of Bachchan was not happy over the actor "folding hands' to get the 'blue tick' back. So, he said, "Sir, this twitter has grown because of great artists like you. You don't need to fold your hands before it. remember 2009 there was nothing this twitter."

Not just Amitabh Bachchan, the blue ticks from the accounts of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and many other big names from the B-town have been removed by Twitter.

Also, other notable personalities to have lost the Twitter blue tick include Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, and cricketers Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma among others.
