'Should I Do Aarti?': Yogi Adityanath Reacts On Bulldozer Action
Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday addressed the bulldozer incident that occurred in his state, asserting that there have been no riots or curfew in Uttar Pradesh since 2017.
During an interview with ANI, the Chief Minister, who has been in office for over six years, emphasized that there have been no instances of riots in the state during his tenure. He also stated that no curfews were imposed, and all festivals were celebrated peacefully. This response came in the context of criticism of his Hindu hardliner image.

When asked about the bulldozer action and the demolition of houses belonging to criminals, Yogi Adityanath defended the government's actions, stating that it was necessary to prevent illegal encroachments on government property. He emphasized that the people of Uttar Pradesh demand strict action against criminals and the mafia.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister refuted allegations that his government was targeting criminals based on their minority community status. He challenged anyone to come forward and claim they faced injustice solely due to their religion.
He reiterated that the rule of law applies equally to all citizens, regardless of their religion, and that everyone should be guaranteed security and protection under the law.
