Gunfire Outside Salman Khan's Mumbai Residence, Gurugram Man Suspected
In a startling incident early Sunday morning, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's residence in Mumbai became the target of an armed attack. CCTV footage captured two individuals firing four rounds outside Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, where Khan resides, around 5 am before fleeing the scene. The Mumbai Police swiftly responded, with the Bandra police station registering an FIR against unidentified persons for attempt to murder under IPC section 307 and violations of the Arms Act.

Delving deeper into the investigation, sources within the Delhi Police have identified one of the suspects as a notorious criminal from Gurugram. This individual is believed to have been involved in multiple violent crimes across Haryana, including murders and robberies. He is also wanted in connection with the murder of Gurugram-based businessman Sachin Munjal in March. The international gangster Rohit Godara, known for his criminal network extending beyond Indian borders, claimed responsibility for Munjal's murder in a social media post. Godara is closely associated with infamous gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, his brother Anmol, and Goldy Brar.
Adding to the tension, hours after the shooting incident at Salman Khan's house, Anmol Bishnoi made a chilling declaration through an online post. He claimed responsibility for the attack and ominously warned the Bollywood actor that what occurred was merely a "trailer." This threat is part of a series of intimidations directed at Khan. In March of the previous year, an email was sent to Khan's office threatening his life. The Mumbai Police registered an FIR against Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and another unidentified individual based on a complaint by Prashant Gunjalkar, who is closely associated with Khan and runs an artist management company. The email ominously suggested that Khan should negotiate directly with "Goldy bhai" to resolve the matter, hinting at dire consequences if ignored.
Furthermore, in June 2022, Salman Khan received another threat through a handwritten note, escalating concerns over his safety. These repeated threats against one of Bollywood's most prominent figures have not only alarmed his vast fan base but also raised serious questions about celebrity security and the influence of criminal networks within India.
The Mumbai Police are currently investigating the shooting incident outside Salman Khan's residence with utmost priority. The involvement of high-profile criminals and gangsters in this case has added a complex layer to the investigation, requiring coordination between various state police departments. As this situation unfolds, it serves as a grim reminder of the challenges facing law enforcement agencies in curbing organized crime and protecting public figures from harm.
