Shocking Video Of Maharashtra Highway Accident Surfaces Online

A shocking video of a truck accident in Maharashtra's Dhule district on Tuesday has hit social media.

The CCTV visuals of the accident have been shared by PTI in which a container truck is seen hitting four vehicles before ramming into a hotel. The incident occurred on Mumbai-Agra Highway in Maharashtra's Dhule district on Tuesday.

The accident took place at around 10.45 am near Palasner village on the Mumbai-Agra highway in Dhule, located more than 300 km from the state capital, a police official said.

According to the reports, the driver of the truck lost control after the brakes failed. It rammed into two bikes, a car and another container. The injured people include those who were waiting for a bus. After being alerted, the police rushed to the spot.

The injured persons were rushed to hospitals in Shirpur and Dhule, the police said.

At least, 15 people have died in the incident and over 20 people have been injured.
