Shocking Offer: YouTuber Promises ₹5 Lakh for Ranveer Allahbadia’s ‘Tongue’
YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia has come under heavy criticism for his controversial remarks made on comedian Samay Raina's show, India's Got Latent. His comments, deemed offensive by many, have sparked public outrage, legal complaints, and even a shocking cash bounty offer from social media influencer Faizan Ansari.
Complaint Filed Against Allahbadia and Others

A written complaint has been lodged against Ranveer Allahbadia, influencer Apoorva Makhija (The Rebel Kid), comedian Samay Raina, and the show's organizers. The complaint accuses them of deliberately making obscene remarks to gain attention and financial benefits from the show's online broadcast.
Faizan Ansari's ₹5 Lakh 'Bounty' Offer
Adding fuel to the controversy, social media influencer Faizan Ansari took to video to express his anger over Allahbadia's comments. In a shocking statement, he declared a ₹5 lakh cash reward for anyone who cuts off Allahbadia's tongue.
According to News18, Ansari stated, "YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia has done something so repugnant that if I were present, I would have cut out his tongue. I am deeply ashamed... I will offer a cash reward of ₹5 lakh to anyone in the country who brings me his tongue."
Interestingly, Ansari is the same influencer who previously rewarded an autorickshaw driver ₹11,000 for rushing Saif Ali Khan to the hospital after he was stabbed by an intruder.
The Question That Sparked Outrage
The controversy erupted after Allahbadia asked a contestant on India's Got Latent a highly inappropriate question,"Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day or join them to finish it once and for all?"
The question was met with immediate backlash, with netizens calling it "offensive" and "derogatory." Many criticised Allahbadia for his lack of judgment and poor attempt at humor.
Allahbadia Apologises Amid Backlash
In response to the criticism, Allahbadia issued a public apology, admitting his mistake. He stated, "My comment wasn't just inappropriate, it wasn't even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry."
Despite his apology, the outrage has not subsided, with many calling for stricter action against the YouTuber.
Legal Action and Political Reaction
The Mumbai Police confirmed that an inquiry is underway regarding the complaint, but no FIR has been registered yet. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis weighed in on the issue, stating:
"There is freedom of speech in India, but it ends when it encroaches upon the freedom of others."
