Shobhaa De tries to mock cop; gets trolled by Mumbai police in return

Shobhaa faced much flak on twitter when she tried to body shame one of the Mumbai police official ahead of BMC elections.

New Delhi, Jan 14: Famous Indian novelist and columnist Shobhaa De on Tuesday tried to crack a fat joke by posting a picture of police official and body shaming him on Twitter.

However, Mumbai police were quick to respond to her saying, "We love puns too Ms De but this one is totally imisplaced.Uniform/official not ours. We expect better from responsible citizens like you."

Earlier this year, Shobhaa faced much flak on twitter when she tried to advise External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to stop tweeting. Shobhaa had tweeted, "Sushma Swaraj : Resolution for 2017 - Keep calm and stop tweeting."

Last year, Shobhaa De was trolled for criticising Indian athletes participating in the Olympics by calling them a waste of money.
