Shivpal Yadav to float a new party with Mulayam after March 11
Shivpal Yadav filed his nomination from Jaswantnagar constituency for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections.
Lucknow, Jan 31: Shivpal Yadav on Tuesday, during a rally in Etawah, announced that he would float a new party alongwith Mulayam Singh Yadav after the results of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections are declared on March 11.
Shivpal filed his nomination from Jaswantnagar constituency. While addressing the rally he said: "Today whatever I am it is because of Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav)."
Shivpal has expressed his displeasure over the Samajwadi Party-Congress alliance for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Taking a dig at Akhilesh, Shivpal said: "What was the Congress's condition before this. They could not even win four seats in UP."
Shivpal said that he will always remain loyal to Netaji. "I cannot bear Netaji being insulted. I will always remain loyal to Netaji till my last breath." Shivpal also said that he would campaign for candidates who were denied tickets by Akhilesh Yadav. He also added that if the SP had not fielded him, he would've contested as an independent candidate.
Mulayam on Sunday had announced that he would not campaign for the SP-Congress alliance in the state.
