MHA: Sheila Dikshit quits as Kerala governor

New Delhi, Aug 26:

Governor

has resigned, official sources said on Tuesday.

"Yes, she has resigned," a home ministry official told IANS, referring to the former Delhi chief minister. He gave no further details.

Shiela Dikshit had met Home Minister Rajnath Singh and President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday. Her meeting had raised questions on her resignation but she refused to answer or respond to any questions.
