Sensational Sheena Bora Murder Case: Now, Indrani Mukherjea's ex-husband arrested

Kolkata, Aug 26: In a new twist in the sensational Sheena Bora murder case, Indrani Mukherjea's former husband Sanjeev Khanna has been arrested on Wednesday, Aug 26.

According police, Sanjeev allegedly had helped Indrani in the murder case. Mumbai Police, who arrested Sanjeev from Kolkata, would produce before Alipore court for transit remand to be taken to Mumbai.

Meanwhile, TV reports quoted Sanjeev as saying that Indrani had his her family from him and he did not meet Sheena and her brother.

Indrani, who had introduced Sheena as her sister, was indeed the biological mother of Sheena and her younger brother. Sheena and her brother were Indrani's children from her previous marriage.

Indrani, the wife of former media baron Peter Mukherjea, was arrested on Tuesday, Aug 25. She allegedly had instructed her driver to kill Sheena and dispose her body.

Indrani and Peter Mukherjea got married in 2002. Before their marriage, Indrani was a HR consultant and Peter was the CEO of Star India.
