Sheena Bora murder: Another Twist! Peter Mukerjea is the mastermind, claim CBI officials

New Delhi, Nov 26: In what could be termed as yet another twist in the murky Sheena Bora murder case, sources in the CBI are now claiming that Peter Mukerjea is the mastermind of his step daughter.

As per an Aaj Tak report, investigating officers in the CBI are now of the view that it was the former media tycoon, Peter, who plotted the murder of 24-year-old Sheena Bora, daughter of his second wife Indrani Mukerjea.

Investigators grilling Peter, who is in the CBI custody, have claimed that he knew every thing about Sheena's murder and helped Indrani kill her daughter from first marriage.

Indrani is already an accused in the murder case that is coming up with fresh twists every now and then.

The CBI aleready accused Peter of "deliberately concealing facts" pertaining to murder and disposal of the victim's body. CBI pressed murder and criminal conspiracy charges against NewsX co-founder Peter Mukerjea, TV reports claimed last week.

Peter was charged under Sections 120 B, 201, 203, 302, 307, 364 of IPC and 66 A of IT act.

Mukerjea was produced on Monday before the court where the prosecution sought 10 days' custody of Mukerjea, claiming he was not cooperating in the investigations into his step-daughter's murder and the CBI had come across certain documents of which he (Mukerjea) had exclusive knowledge.

In August, Mumbai police arrested Indrani, her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna and her former driver Shyamwar Rai in connection with the Sheena Bora murder. In continuous custody since then, they have been remanded in CBI custody till December 3.
