Sharad Yadav set to show strength with opposition leaders today

Yadav said apart from the Congress, the Left and the SP, representatives of other opposition parties, including the TMC, BSP and NCP, will also attend the meeting.

Sharad Yadav will today will be part of a day long convention in New Delhi. The 'Sabha virasat bachao sammelan,' being held in the Constitution club will also involve leaders such as Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav and Sitaram Yechury.

This would be a crucial meet for Yadav who is locked in a battle with Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar.

Yadav during a presser refused to speak about his spat with Kumar. He maintained that this event was being organised in the interest of the country.

Asserting that "composite culture" was the soul of the Constitution, which he alleged was being "tinkered with", Yadav said similar meetings would be held across the country.
